Most of the local community newspapers in my area remain popular and well liked - especially amongst sports fans and, funny enough, working class people. I was out on a story the other week, and nearly everyone I spoke to bought their local newspaper. Okay, they may not be flying off the stands, but at least many people are still buying them. It's the younger generation that worries me!
